This Week in Worship

Heart to Heart: Not Today, Satan

Matthew 4:1-11  When we're worn, when we're hungry, when we feel alone, the voice of temptation comes to bend our ear. We hear it, and we feel it. It's familiar lurking can quickly dissolve our will power, and our purposes go out the window. But it doesn't have to be that way. There is another voice: let's listen in on Jesus this week and find the words to name and claim God's best for us.

HeBrews Lite

We have kicked off a "Lite" version of HeBrews in the Fellowship Hall from 9:00-11:00 am. Please stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee and fellowship.

That means parents are reliving and processing anew these same issues with their teens. We invite any and all parents of teens to come be a part of a community created to support and bring peace to those parenting in this unique season of life. This group will continue the work of It Takes a Village at Shady Grove UMC under a new name, Parenting Teen Survival Group. Our hope is that you feel this community as a life raft in what can be the rough waters of raising teens.
