Finding Refuge
Worship Series - We Live, We Love

"I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another." -- John 13:34
How do we live and love in right relationship with God and one another? Our human frailty and fear keep showing up. Relationships are difficult! In the most ancient stories of our Judeo-Christian tradition, we discover that to live is to love. Let's uncover the wisdom of these narratives.

Sermon:  "Finding Refuge"
Scripture: Genesis 7:1-5, 11-18, 8:6-18, 9:8-13
In our message this week, "Finding Refuge," we consider what brought us here to this place of refuge called church. Here we are together on this boat, different as the animals on the ark. Yet somehow we are the same, seeking refuge to sustain life and love.

Scriptural readings become “scripture stories” in our We Live, We Love worship series. Contact Sylvia Cooper at 360-2600, ext. 40 if you would like to be involved in the presentations in the sanctuary. EMAIL SYLVIA
