6th Grade Kick-Off Wednesday, September 8th at 6pm at Otter Pond Park in Wyndham We will be providing pizza and drinks too. This is open to all 6th grade youth and their parents. You do not have to be a member of Shady Grove to participate in the youth program. There will be a time for parents to learn about what the youth ministry is and how their students can become active while the youth play games with some of our awesome adult leaders.
Fall Kick-Off Sunday, September 12th 3:00pm-5:00pm The meeting will begin promptly at 3:00 in the Sanctuary. You will hear about the plans for next year and have the opportunity to sign up for retreats, mission trips and get youth group t-shirts. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear about the new Youth Ministry space – The D.O.G. House. We will be running through an inflatable obstacle course and enjoying ice cream sundaes as well!! Bring your friends!! Space is limited for next summer’s mission projects.
Upcoming Events: Shady Grove Youth Fall Retreat- Saturday, November 13th- Sunday, November 14th. We are headed to Westview on the James for our weekend away. More details to follow. Contact Tara Gunther with any questions.

Youth Group at Shady Grove is a vibrant fun experience for both Middle School and High School Youth. Middle School youth group what we call "Large Group" meets on Sundays from 5:30-6:30 in Chapel Hall. High School " Large Group" also meets on Sundays from 7:30-8:30 in Chapel Hall. In addition to "Large Group" there is a Youth Explosion Choir that meets in the Sanctuary from 6:30-7:30. Also there are small groups that meet at various people's homes that providing bible study, fellowship, and a smaller group experience. Come join the fun and bring a friend!
