Leslie Rivenbark, Preschool Director

Leslie Rivenbark, along with her husband Russ and their children Adam and Katie found a little country church to call their own 14 years ago. As the community and little church grew, so did the need to minister to the lives of young children through a weekday preschool. In 1999, Shady Grove United Methodist Church Preschool opened their doors to the children of the church and the neighbors in our community.

As the founding director of Shady Grove United Methodist Church Preschool, Leslie has been following her heart and love for teaching early childhood education for over 20 years. She strives to create an environment where children feel the prescence of God's love and experience all the fun learning can bring. Learning, faith, friendship, and impressions to last a life time are just a few of Leslie's preschool mottos.

Leslie is happiest in her garden planting flowers or working on her latest knitting project. Besides her family, Leslie has a deep love for her cats, antiques, country music, and silver jewelry.
